Pro:Direct Sport Commerce Platform
Overview
Unlike a traditional project, this work represents the ongoing evolution of the core digital commerce platform powering Pro:Direct Sport.
Since joining the platform in 2017, responsibilities have expanded from full-stack development within the original Sitecore implementation to leading technical delivery across the modern Shopify ecosystem. Today the role spans solution architecture, platform ownership, engineering leadership, release management, and hands-on development.
The platform continues to evolve through weekly releases, new customer experiences, merchandising capabilities, operational tooling, performance optimisation, and architectural improvements delivered through collaboration with stakeholders, designers, analysts, QA teams, and engineers.

Platform Modernisation
The most significant transformation during this period was the migration from Sitecore to Shopify.
The challenge extended beyond a technology migration. Years of accumulated business processes, merchandising workflows, content management requirements, and customer-facing functionality needed to be reimagined within a new commerce platform while maintaining continuity for both customers and internal teams.
The migration established a more agile foundation for future development while reducing operational complexity and accelerating feature delivery.
